 Acted as Independent Commissioning Agent (mechanical services )for this prestigious project with Hindmarsh Construction during base building construction and later on for all building services (mechanical, DG sets, fire, hydraulics, communications) during the fit out period with Department of Finance and WIllemsen Group . Building has total NLA of 24,000 sq.m. comprising of offices, 1000 sq.m of atrium and basement parking for 500 cars. High energy efficiency was key factor for this building.  HVAC system comprises of chillers, boilers, air handling units, VAV system for offices, chilled beams and in slab heating for atrium.

 IKEA Majura Park ACT                                                                       Completed 2015

Reviewed the mechanical system design and acted as an Independent Commissioning Agent (mechanical services) for IKEA   Pty. Ltd. Project comprises of 25,000 sq.m. of warehouse area. Heating and cooling is by reverse cycle high efficiency DX units.

National Canberra Private Hospital Extension Woden   Completed 2015        

Acted as Independent Commissioning Agent (mechanical services) for Hindmarsh Construction.

Project comprises of adding extra of 62 beds, 4 operation theatres, extra consultant suites, recovery rooms etc.

High Performance Computing Facility   ANU                            Completed 2019

Developed design and commissioned the Chilled water cooling System for 2300kW computing facility. Used Canberra weather to provide cooling during winter’s period.

Achieved PUE of 1.10 (was completed while Surender was working with ANU).

Recently completed upgrade of this facility. SKV designed and taken up to commissioning. Project has won MBA and AIB awards for excellence in professionalism and innovation in technology.

Acted as Independent Commissioning Agent for Built Pty Ltd. Project comprises of refurbishment of 4 storey building. Project is completed in August 2015.
